Xbox 360 closed NAT??? Siemens speed stream 4200?

i want my nat to be open on xbox live?? what can i do?
i have a optus broadband connection,
and a siemens speedstream 4200 modem?
i've tried and nothing works :( help me out here
 
call xbox live support and ask them. if its a wired connection call the internet company and tell them you want an open nat setting. try having your settings on auto and then try manual see if that works. if you use a router you may need to forward port numbers. to get your router config page type your ip adress into your web adress bar and when it asks you for name and password its admin and password 1234 or leave it blank i think
 
check upnp settings and firewall settings in the modem. you can do that by going to internet explorer and type 10.1.1.1 and it should get you in. then click setup on the left and it will expand. then you can work from there.
 
Unplug your modem and router and wait for about 20 seconds. Plug back in the modem and lets it come completely up before you plug back in the modem. If this does not work message me and i will tell you how to access your routers configuration page
