Xbox 360 Arcade internal memory, how much does it have?

Say I want to play a game like Call of Duty 2: Modern Warfare, is the internal memory that the system comes with enough to save the game or do I have to spring for a xbox hard drive?

Yeah the memory card is what I was talking about and yeah I don't plan on using xbox live at all....I just got it and plan on going to buy Call of Duty 2, and a friend told me I had to buy a hard drive if I wanted to save my game so justed wanted to see what the deal is...

There isnt internal memory,
It comes with a 256Mb Memory card, that has my saves for over 20 games on it and my gamertag on it no problem.
But the small amount of internal memory on the arcade (and all Xboxes) is only for the operating system
