I am running latest version of XAMPP on windows XP home edition and my ISP is AOL.
Wondering what is the simplest way to test my contact form (php file) to test the php mail function.
Should I use mercury with XAMPP?
Could I just go through various ISP SMTP settings and place them in the php.ini and hope for the best?
Are there other FREE SMTP mail servers I could set up on my pc?
I am new to mail servers though can pick things up quickly so any assistance, help or tips would be appreciated.
