X3 was like a bad anime.

It seems like they had no idea what to write for this movie, so they decided they would quickly and pointlessly kill most of the characters off as well as make half the movie an extravaganza of destruction.

It's easily the worst of the three films (in fact it's a borderline bad movie), and I highly doubt I will buy it for my film collection.
 
x3 was gonna make a fuckton of money regardless of whether it sucked or not. however, i agree. i left the theater more or less wanting my money back
 
Earnings are not indicative of a film's greatness.

It's huge opening had more to do with the anticipation for this one built by the first two more than anything else.
 
Everyone butthurt over Vinnie Jones as Juggernaut don't worry. Juggs didn't have a huge part in the film and was disintegrated in the end anyways.
 
i think i hated the severe lack of good dialogue, the worthless deaths of key characters, giving jean grey a massive 4 or 5 lines....giving STORM a main roll (but i guess she was one of the only xmen left) and the EASILY noticeable wire effects whenever storm was on screen. acting was pretty sub par...minus stewart and mckellen...and the end battle was pretty pathetic...5 xmen vs a crapload of mutants who didnt even use their fucking powers....i could go on i suppose
 
I could have swore I saw him flying around in the sky and breaking up when Phoenix goes crazy.

He was still beaten by Kitty, so Juggernaut still sucked in this movie.
 
how do you figure Xavier's death was pointless?? It showed how out of control Jean was and that killing her was the only real way to stop shit.

Just because you were sad and wanted to cry does not make it pointless.
 
That's the bad part, it wasn't sad at all.

It was nowhere near as dramatic or well done as Jean's death in X2. It's just another example of how poorly thought out and written this film was.
 
I don't know how they could have made it more dramatic... slow motion evisceration in a floating house with fuckers fighting all around him... not to mention who Jean is to Xavier and vice versa.
