x1228 Boost presssure control valve error code on a mazda bongo?

I have a 2000 Mazda bongo 2.5 L turbo diesel, which has the same engine as ford ranger.
The Launch x-431 diagnostic error code is x1228 Boost press sure control valve.

However my garage is stuck and does not know how to proceed.
Has anyone got any ideas, what might be causing this?
