I watched x-men 2 on dvd last night and i was blown away by the special effects, acting and story all amazing and good stuff, i reckon this beats the first x-men and the last stand, anyone agree?.

All X-men films were a bit of a disapointment to me.
I am a fan of comic book movies
and I think compared to Batman, spiderman and Superman Xmen Movies dont scratch the surface.
Just my opinion

When they re-make them in a few years, lets hope they drop the political stuff a bit, sure have it in, but dont make the whole film depend on it.

In contrast to that last post, I think X-Men 2 is singularly the greatest comic to film adaption made. The first and third movies aren't in the league of it, and even Batman Begins and Spidey aren't as good. The PEREFCT comic book movie.

X-Men 2 was the better one of the trilogy. Having said that, I love all three. X3 was a disappointment on many levels, but it'll still feel special to me after I was invited to the British premiere last year.

I agree. The original Supermans were a whole lot better than the recent Returns, I was bored watching it at the cinemas.

X Men to me was all about special effects, the 3rd is quite good though...

Never mind we have Spider-Man 3 coming this summer so lets hope this will cheer us all up. I didnt like X3 much only the special effects kept me watching, but x2 was wow wow wow super cool, i love the emotion, the acting is excellent and the storyline is so much better then x1 and x3.

Has anyone seen the trailer for spider-man 3? it makes me want to watch this film, i cannot wait for its release.

I didn't even bother with Spiderman 2 because I hated the first one so much. Tobey Maguire's voice makes me want to shoot myself, Kirsten Dunst is dull, and even with the perfect cast the direction was rubbish.

Total opposite for me. Spideman was one film I can watch over and over again (maybe because my nephew likes it so much). It's one superhero film that was well made IMO and didn't disappoint unlike Superman Returns. Looking forward to Spiderman 3.

Yeah. Well, I don't know if it was Bryan Singer's fault Superman was boring, but it's definitely a shame he left X-Men to make it, a bit of a waste really.

Superman Returns is all right but it's as though Singer expected no-one to have seen the original Christopher Reeve film because it was basically a retread of it except without the 'origin' element. We were seeing the same things but thirty years later. However, I'm sure the sequel will change all that (one thing's for sure, the studio will MAKE SURE he puts more action in it!)

X men 1 I quite liked but then im a sucker for special effects.
x men 2 about the same x men 3 I have but not watched it yet.

Spidy 1 okay-ish spidy 2 nope disliked it.

But I did enjoy Daredevil
