x^2 + 4x = 2. Write answer in a set notation.?

The answer I'm trying to get is {.45, -4.45}. Can someone show me the steps to get this with the quadratic equation? I got up to -4 +/- 2 sqrt(6) over 2. Is that wrong so far? thanks.
