Would I be totally off base if I declared that Catherine (the love of Heathcliff) is akin to the the mother that he never had and the process of meeting Catherine was like his birth to his finaly stage of adulthood (like mental growth)??

I can back it up but I feel like it's something that seems "out-there"....

Can I declare that though?
