WTF Summer Band Camp?

If the band camp is held at your high school, then you will get to go home. But if it's out of town, you probably will sleep there. The same thing happened to me last year when I wasn't expecting to have to go to band camp. But have no worries!! It really isn't that bad, just kind of exhausting. You just get to hang out with your friends and stuff while learning music. You'll probably enjoy it!!

I knew i was going to be in the marching band but had no flipping idea that i'd have to take band camp over the summer, i just heard word about it last week and called the high school im going to and they confirmed it, im nervous as ****! Im coming to high school as a freshman. The band camp is for 10 days 8 hours a day a few weeks before school actually starts, does anyone know if band camp is one of those things where you actually like " live " there / sleep there? Like am i going to be sleeping in the gym at night and by day work on band and stuff? Or is it where im there for 8 hours learning my stuff and getting uniforms and crud and then coming back home?
