WTF did this happen??

I was wondering if anyone had an exlpanation as to why my clutch started to slip @ 5000-6000 revs once my new CRG levers were installed.

There was no issue what so ever with the stock levers. The bike is a 2002 998 with only 1600 original miles.

I'm not sure if it has something to do with the pin insert on the clutch side or not but would appreciate any advice or if this has happened to anyone else!!

Thanks,
Luigi

Cable ???

Maybe the pin in the master cylinder.
Use the search button man - been discussed several times around these here parts.

It is likely to be the same length as the OE pin.. the trick WAS.. to accurately measure the distance from the dowel to the end of the pin on the original lever .. TWICE.. and make sure the pin is screwed into the new lever to the same distance..

Did you buy the levers second hand or new?? I'd guess there were some instructions missing in your replacement.
