I think of her and remember well
The times we spent, the stories we'd tell
I'll never forget that minute we fell
Into what we called love
She was an angel from above
But our road it split apart
And to pieces, broke my heart
They say there are more fish in the sea
But my lady, she swam out on me
Though it was I who took the bait
Now how long must I wait
For this pain to start to fade
A watery grave for me she laid
The thought of her like a frigid wind
Cuts through my veins and chills within
Down deep to my bones
It's then I feel alone
Praying for her to return home
But my prayers just float away
I hope they'll fall to her one day
Until then I just sit and wait
Waiting for a simple twist of fate
