tell me how a few of these examples are, tell me what i should work on, thank you for any help or input
i'll be adding a few of the essays in additional details
I can’t just start writing on a blank page so I will write this sentence first. I really don’t know where to begin, where to begin from nowhere. Having no story in mind, I will most likely float between my life and a faux reality. I am only a speck of insignificance in this world, this story will be nothing. Time passes so quickly in the grand scheme of things. But the present moving so apathetically slow. I really don’t understand those people who say “life is short, live every day like its your last.” a) life is not to long. ninety years (or less if you are a suicidal, a cigarette smoker, or just happen to be in the wrong place at the wrong time) seems to be a perfect amount to me. you always have the control of yourself to shorten it as you please. For the argument of it being to short, at least your body will not live as long to be shrunken and wrinkled into a piece of popcorn. And b) nobody lives every day like its their last.
Large groups of freshman or middle school kids in the mall. They walk around talking about their girlfriends in a loud voice so everyone is aware that they are growing up. They generally walk very fast paced like they are the shit as well. They all act the same and take up to much room. One guy will be wearing the local city’s NFL team jersey. Three will be wearing a hoodie of their school. One will be dressed in a Pink Floyd’s dark side of the moon logo (even though he only knows the song “another brick in the wall“). The girls will be, of course, attired in Hollister and Abercrombie, with straightened hair, mini skirts (regardless of the season), and a little purse. The girls will scream with the guys fool around and touch them and cause a scene in the mall. The guys will all laugh in a faked deep voice in return.
I can’t stand a religious person. So many living their lives to follow the commands of a man-made god. So many rejecting scientific evidence only because it does not agree with their blind faith. I wonder how the first man conformed a whole society. Walking down a street today (in an imagined non-brainwashed society). And making far-fetched claims that a man in the sky is watching you and judging you, and that when you die you will go to hell if you fuck up once. If someone did that today they would be sent away to an insane asylum. So many need to realize how crazy it is to believe in the bible stories and teaching of the clergyman who is touching little boys after service.
