Could someone pls point me in the correct direction for the following:
I want to write a program that signs into Yahoo messenger and can look at my groups. Then, I want all my messages from, say, "Friends" in one inbox, all the messages from "Colleagues" in another inbox, and so on. So each inbox will have messages from ALL the contacts in that group, in chronological order.
I am using a windows XP computer. I have written code before (VBA, Java, C++), so all i really need is a foothold on what to learn to do this project. At the moment I don't even have an idea where to start looking for information (apart from yahoo! answers of course :-D)
Alternatively, if anyone can tell me if any of the free programs like Trillian, Pidgin etc has this feature, that would be even better, but I haven't been able to find any.
