Writing a letter to one of the characters in To Kill A MockingBird?

So, I have this assignment in school where you have to either "write a fictional letter to one or more of the characters or create a letter written from one character in the novel to another that expresses some unspoken feelings or thoughts." I was thinking about writing a letter to Boo Radley from Jem saying how he heard about how scout had met him and he was sorry for the pranks they pulled on him but that sounds sort of cheesy lol and my teacher wants it to be the best. I'm in an honors class and she's very hard on us when it comes to writing assignments. (I was never good at writing stories or essays either) =( So any ideas would help! Thanks
