I was on probation for Domestic battery and trespassing... I have served longer probation than was required because i got an offense for pain killers, i am writing the judge a formal letter to him to file a motion to terminate probation. Although i'm not exactly sure how to word the letter, any help?
Well i have already formally filed with the court, and nada....
I have been on probation for a year now, although it was assigned for 134 days, and 16 days in jail, which i served, but the court wouldnt hear it. I was denied for a motion. I had to complete a mental health, substance abuse, anger managment evaluations, as well as community service. Completed all of them in shorter time that was expected, and passed with flying colors.

If you are still on probation, it's because that is your sentence. The judge is unlikely to reduce it, especially when it was increased due to a violation.

If you filed such a motion with the court and were turned down, writing the judge is not going to change it.

whoa whoa whoa.

Who advised you to write to the judge? The Court can always file its own motion, but this isn't the usual path.

EDIT*** what do you mean, nada? You filed your motion and it wasn't heard? Or that you didn't get released?

How much probation did you get for battery and trespassing? And then how much did you get for the pain killers? And how much time has gone by for each?
