Writers: Would you join Guaranteed Bestsellers? (more info)?

Okay, so I read this story. In it, there's a company called Guaranteed Bestsellers.

If you join, every year you'll have a bestseller. They guarantee it. (They have their ways of making it happen...) You'll become a rich and famous author.

But, every year, you also have to kill someone. They assign you someone to kill, and it's always someone who is getting in their way. You see, the company wants world domination. They're almost there too... kinda. They've got all these rich and influencial people (the bestselling authors) on their side, and are slowly killing off others.

Sooo... you've found their bussiness card. You know nothing of their world domination plot. All you know is if you call, you'll publish bestsellers. You wonder if that's considered cheating. Do you call the number? Or do you decide that if you're going to publish a bestseller, it will be on your own?

If you do call the number, they ask for your location. You give it to them, and a few minutes later a sleek car pulls up. You ask to join their company. They say that you'll have guaranteed bestsellers if you join and be rich and famous, but there's a catch. Then they ask if you still want to join. You ask to know what the catch is first. They wont tell you until you join and swear to secrecy. So... you join. They tell you the catch is that every year you must assassinate someone.

You want out. They say if you leave now, they'll have you dead by morning because you know their secret. If you swear to secrecy, every year you'll have your bestseller and they'll have their assassin.

So if you DID call the number, at this point it's between being killed, OR being a bestseller and a murderer.

Do you join, or not?
