Writers/authors, which do you prefer?

I am someone who LOVES to write - but I mean actually write on paper. It seems like my ideas flow much more freely than when I type at the keyboard. So when you write a story, are you typing it, or do you have to write it by hand to get your ideas flowing? I've always been this way. Thing is, I've been putting off writing because I know I'll have twice the work retyping it. I also realize its easier to edit along the way when you type, adding text, etc. So, any advice? Should I stick to writing by hand, or try to do my writing by typing it all? I have a lot of projects right now, but they are unorganized and all written on different pieces of paper, etc. I guess I'm asking how should I organize my writing! Thanks
 
Your style sounds something like mine. Many writers really love writing on paper with pens. It's more natural then typing on a computer.

I have tons of little pieces of colorful paper with story ideas or lines that come to me in the middle of the night. Write how you feel most comfortable.

Easy is not always the right way, most of the time it's not. You can write your great novel on paper then type it. It's a first draft anyway. Much luck fellow writer.
 
what i do is title them right away (even if you don't keep the title). you just need a title or name to being with that you'll remember. Then i write the contents on thComputerer and throw the paper away. much neater and morefficientnt. Then they all go intalphabeticalal order and i can open the document up at any time and continue writting. Then, once i'm done a project i put it into a folder called finsihed. All my unfinihsed ones are in an 'unfinshed' doc and the ones i don't think i'll ever get to again are call other' etc. hope that helps.
