i have been writing for about twelve years and i have yet to be able to finish a book. i must have over a dozen books in the works but i get to about the middle and i get writers block. and when i try to force it, well lets just say even to me it sound nothing like the first part. what i'm asking for is some advice on inspration, getting rid of writers block or just tips on how to really focous on my books.

discussing feeling, and emotion that characters or even you may go through with other people may give you inspiration on how to write things. talking to more people and having new experiences help with the over all writing experience because you'll be able to write about other things, since you've experienced new things.. (this helps with the whole being understanding, and getting everything from a universal viewpoint) relax, and try to fully get what you're trying to portray, or an idea or point you would like to make in your writing. music helps with feeling and emotion alot. along with movies! oh, movies! movies definitely help with some inspiration.. how you may want to modify a character... and many other things.. along with music going with a scene, may help you in understanding what kind of music to listen to when you want a certain "scene" to be happening!
so try meeting people, new experiences (even with random things like food!), and music, and movies!
happy writing! and of course, happy living!
