3k^2-3k/2k-2

Can you help me in solving this problem i've been stuck on it now for at least thirty minutes and it is really bugging me! Please help. Thank you for your help!

I'm assuming this is (3k^2 - 3k) / (2k - 2)

1. Factor out 3k from the numerator giving us: 3k(k - 1) / 2k - 2

2. Factor out 2 from the denominator giving us: 3k(k - 1) / 2(k - 1)

3. Reduce the expression by cancelling (k-1) from numerator and denominator

4. Answer: 3k/2
