Reaction that occurs when nitric acid and potassium fluoride are combined.
Okay so the right answer is H3O^+^ + F^-^ ----> HF + H2O but for some reason i cannot get this.
This is what i did:
HNO3 + KF ---> KNO3 + HF + H2O
H + NO3 + K + F ----> K + NO3 + H + F + H2O
But when i do my net ionic they all cancel out? ^
Can someone please tell me where i went wrong?! Is the HF in the products side not suppose to seperate? If so, why?!
