Wrist pain

I have had pain in my right wrist every once in a while for a few years. I think it was just from overusing it on the computer or something to that sort. I would wear a brace for a day and the pain would go away completely. A few days ago my wrist starting hurting a little bit but not enough to stop me from doing stuff but now it has progressed to me barely being able to type. It hurts very badly on the outside of my wrist when I bend it any other way than down. It also pops painfully almost every time that I move it. I have worn a splinted brace all day today but it has not gave me any relief like it has in the past. And google searches have came up with nothing. Does anybody know what it could be and how to help it?

It sounds like it could be Carpnal Tunnel. This happens with a computer over time and can get very painful. I have it, my wrist doesn't pop though. They can operate but most say it doesn't help much. Stay off the puter as much as possible and see if you get relief.

Thanks for the reply. I don't believe that it is carpel tunnel though since the pain is solely on the outside of my wrist. I did find information on Triangular Fibrocartilage Complex (TFCC) injuries and that sounds like what I may have. Does anyone know anything about it?
