So while I was riding my bike, I slid on a gravel surface and my bike hit the left pedal hard. Now when I pedal, it feels as if the bearing is now tilted, with the left side being lower than the other, producing an awkward pedal feel. Is there a way to fix this or do I have to take it in? How much do you think a shop will charge to straighten it?
The crank arms are cast aluminum, the pedals themselves (the foot rests) are plastic. I think the windings holding them to the cranks are steel. In the very least based on some answers here- I believe the left crank is bent somehow. Any further clues?
