WoW private server, GM Powers? existant or no?

Other than creating your own server (i don't suggest a mac), nobody is just going to let you be a GM. Private servers aren't really that fun to play anyway, usually not enough people on to really enjoy it, it crashes, updates are spotty, and cheating is rampant. Just pay the 15 dollars and enjoy the real thing
 
I've been looking for a while and the best Private server i've found so far is WoWgasm.org. But it crashes alot and i want GM Power. is there anyway to make a Private server on a mac? or is there a Public "Private" server that lets you?
