Wouldn't it be weird if our taste buds were attached to the inside of our stomach?

all the food we consume and chew through our mouths slowly travels down...and finally reaches the stomach mashed and clumped up as little mouthfuls where its supposed to be broken down by our stomach acids... and then we finally get to taste what had entered our mouths a few minutes ago?
