It's SFX heavy for a reason it is not like a Michael Bay movie everything you see whether action or SFX are in there for a reason. You'd know if you watch it. Inception deserves to be seriously considered for Best Pic it will no doubt be nom'd. But the academy seem to just ignore sci-fi. Chris Nolan will/should be nom'd for best director and it should win best screenplay (imagine how Inception looks on paper 
) as well as the majority of tech awarRAB.
Toy Story 3 will win best animated but the academy will think it is unfair to give a film both best pic and best animated so it won't win both plus I doubt it would anyway. IMO I don't think animated fgilms should be allowed in Best film as they already have there catageory.
The best pic will as always go to some drama about some past event or just some well acted drama or an epic like Gladiator or Lord of the Rings.
Best Actor should go to DiCaprio he is one of the/if not the best actor around and his performance in Shutter Island is outstanding. Inception he was good but nothing compared to Shutter Island he should of won for The Departed.
From November to January all the Oscar bait movies will come out and as always they will be the ones that win the big awarRAB.
