My bf and I have been together for 9 months. I'm a virgin, but we're both mature enough to reach that next level of intimacy. Even though Im ready, he was asking me recently when we would do it because he thinks he has waited long enough, and that it would be frustrating if he had to wait much longer. I know he loves me, and I love him, but is it unreasonable for me to think that if he really loved me, he would wait until I wanted it, even if that meant a couple months from now (even though I DO want it now, we're just talking hypotheticals)? He believes that sex is a sign of love, and he wants to express that love to me. So would that be unreasonable for most people? Is it admirable that my bf has waited 9 months for me thus far?
