he raped his 6 year old daughter? She almost bleed to death. He was given 22 years in prison (which he deserves) and so far he has spent over 10 years of his sentence in prison. We were very close as small children, but I havn't seen him in over 10 years. Yes, our childhood was filled with a lot of abuse, but I didn't grow up & do the things my parents did to me. Some of my family members talk to him, and are very supportive. But, I don't know if I can. I can't imagine any crime that could possibly be any worse, besides murder. He calls me collect on a regular basis, and writes me a lot of letters of which I havn't responded. He tells the family that he has found God, and that he is remorsful, but in his letters to me he doesn't mention his crime or any guilt that he might feel. He actually avoids the subject. I posted this question before, but didn't mention what he did. I am really torn. Should I accept his phone calls, or write to him? I'm having a really hard time accepting what he's done, & part of me feels that by talking to him I would be condoning what he did. He is very religious now, and he's a talented artist & musician. He donates a lot of his art to the church. Is this a show of redemption? Knowing now what he has done does that change people's views on whether I should talk to him, or be supportive to him in any way? What should I do I am so confused? Is his crime forgivable? Thank you!
