I think it is a good idea...as it puts everyone's mind at ease. I also think it is a good idea to get credit score information and the amount of debt they may owe. Im sorry but I am not going to marry someone who is intent on destroying the marriage by crazy amounts of debt. I dont owe any money and I would expect my husband to live by the same philosophy...if we can buy a home cash...that would be my dream. I cannot live with anyone that believes in crazy amounts of debt.
We live in a different time period...get everything out in the open...its better for both of you...
