Would you sit in a cinema alone

Yeah cause horror movies don't really bother me but if it was really really scary then i would be able to scream as loud as i wanted without feeling embarrased.

I prefer going on my own these days. Not that I go much since I prefer to wait until the dvd comes out since that way I can fast forward the aRAB & trailers.

I went to an early screening of something at a Warner cinema one time on my own and I couldn't believe there was no-one else in there.

yup, I'd go watch a horror alone in a cinema and not be paid for it...in fact, I'd even go and watch a horror that was about a girl in a cinema alone going to watch a horror movie....:p:)

I often like to go to the cinema in the afternoon.
You don't get the idiots talking, throwing food, or walking out half way through and not coming back or inane giggling from little kiRAB that you often get if you go in the evenings.
Here in Cambridge over the summer months you also get large groups of foreign summer students all together with frienRAB and they cause a hell of a lot of noise and hassle all through the filsm (not all of them but it only takes 4 people to screw it up for everyone, but I have seen 15 people arsing about at once sometimes).

By going in the afternoons you might only have 20 odd people in the largest screen which is very nice. That reminRAB me, I must book an afternoon off to go and see Harry Potter next month.

i like to go to the late showings for the same reason. it's great to come out of my local multiplex at 2am and race home and jump in bed straight after.

Do they make creepy Horror movies any more?

Last horror movie I was scared at was The Haunting made in 1963 (no not that ghastly version from 1999).

It might help that at the time I watched it I was living in the house which provided the exteriors at the time of watching. That property which can be found about 5miles south of Stratford-upon-Avon is now a http://www.handpickedhotels.co.uk/hotels/Ettington-park-hotel/ but not that posh when I lived there! ;)
