Would you reject ALL historical figures, who owned slaves?

Whenever an American Founding Father's recorded thought contradicts their agenda today, Illiberals claim, that the man was a slave-owning "pig and bigot" (or similar epithets) and his ideas are thus automatically worthless. For example:

Under this (il)logic, should we ALSO completely reject and denounce other past slave-owners, such, for example:

. Lev Tolstoy (a Russian writer),
. John Hawkins (a British Admiral),
. Muhammad (an Arab prophet),
. Plutarch (a Greek writer, historian, and philosopher),
. Cicero (a Roman politician),
. Aristotle (a Greek philosopher),
. King Solomon (a Jewish king and a poet)?
iGOD, just HOW was American slavery different from that of Ancient Rome or the then-contemporary Russia?
