Personally I would not use Vodafone as I had bad experiences with them when I was on contract. Their singal strength was very good, the plan I was on was attractive, but their customer service was useless. Both instore and on the phone I was treated very rudely and passed from pillar to post. It took me a long time to finally get money back they had taken in error at the end of my contract. Having said that, I imagine there are plenty of satisfied customers out there!
I am with 02 for my iphone 3GS and have been really impressed with them. The staff both instore and on the phone are friendly and helpful, you can get through to customer services without being stuck in a queue for ages and their signal strength, 3G connectivity and everything else has been brilliant!
