Would you recommend this bike?

Ok, I have my eyes on this bike which sounds cool.

Would you ever recommend such a bike to anyone? There is the more expensive folding bike (by Montague) used by US marines, but then, the Montague bike is too costly for me!

There are a few misgivings about that ad. The front fork has a shock, but not on both legs of the fork, only one. The other is just along for the ride. It isn't military issue. It is a marketing effort by the US Army, just like you see in motor sports. None of those race cars are used by the Army, or Marines either. That bike isn't a Trek (brand) just uses the word Trek as part of the name as in Star Trek.
The only bike used by the US Military is for base MP duty and they are Trek (brand) Police bikes. By the way $300 isn't an expensive or high quality bicycle now days.
