I have this idea for a book but I'm not sure if it's good enough
Please tell me if you would be interested in reading something like this

It's about a girl and her father is a scientist who tries to perfect the time machine
The main character is really interested in History, her birthday comes up soon,
and her father tries to make a time machine for her present. Her father made it but was convinced it didn't work so he threw it out. The main character comes across the time machine and leaves it in her room for further exploration of it. She invites two of her friends to come over and one of them picks up the time machine and insists they try it. The main character says it wouldn't be safe and they should consider the consequences. But her other friend doesn't believe it will work so they try it just to make sure. They end up in the 1800s and don't know what operates the time machine. They eventually find a kind old lady who lets them stay with them. The main character eventually meets a duke whom she falls in love with. They share lots of funny moments etc etc. But when her friend discovers how to fuel the time machine, the main character has to leave him behind. She returns to the future and misses him too much. So she brings him to the future and that's all I have so far.
In between there is; a ball, a snake bite, a mystical horse ride,
It is a bit cliche but please tell me what you think
