..."The world is in tension, resources are running out, and now more then ever countries must depend on one another for necessities. Interdependence is at an all time high. Threats of using nuclear bombs have been made to ensure needed resources were received. However, a secret organization fears that if a threatening country were denied these resources, that country may just be foolish enough to follow through on their threat. One country would destroy another and would be destroyed in return and alliances would ensure there were no survivors. Thus, this secret organization briskly pulls six teens from their classes in school and puts them aboard a spaceship headed for another planet. These six teens, the organization hoped would ensure the human race's survival. The trip takes place over a seven day period and in that time, the teens encounter many problems. A few of these problems are a debris field, air leak, fuel leak, and another spaceship with a dead crew that connected to their ship and must be disconnected before they land on the planet or they will crash. Atop it all, are the pressures of responsibility and uncontrollable emotions that end up endangering the teens lives at times."
