I have finally finished my book and am re-drafting it before sending it to publishers
It is unlike any book I have ever come across before
It is based on true life, my life. It covers a year period when i was very depressed and acted completley out of character
The things I did make me feel sick now but I think other people would relate to it if they have ever been depressed.
I would risk everything if i got this published. My family do not know of the things I did during this time. The stupid positions i put myself in.
The book is quite adult theamed, it covers things like sex with strangers and swinging. It covers being abused as a child and what its like to be on the brink of death after trying to take your own life.
As i get nearer to getting ready to send it off a part of me wonders if anyone would be interested in it and if its worth the backlash i might face if anyone ever found out who i was. I would publish the book as anonoumous for obvious reasons.
any advice would be appreciated.
