With exception to the Olympic Games in particular, and perhaps the finals of major sports competitions, I don't see how sport is regarded as being news worthy?
Network Ten have a separate sports bulletin called "Sports Tonight"
So why don't other TV networks and stations including the ABC do the same, or cut out the regular sports reports?
Why is sport more news worthy than art, music, literature, performing arts, et cetera?
