Would you prefer anime or western style cartoons?

I was just a little bored and waiting for the new episode of Naruto Shippuden to come out so I decided to waste some time on this.
XD I love the word "anime" xD i've been hooked onto it since I watched Doraemon lol.
So here's the question.
What would you prefer, anime or western style cartoons and Why?
