Would you prefer a dinner at a fine dining, or upscale place; I know a place that has a great rooftop patio that's perfect for sharing a conversation. Or a smaller place, it's not fine dining, but voted best Thai restaurant in the city by every publication. The chef there is always asking me to come in early evening, when it's not so busy so she can give me a cooking lesson before serving dinner. It would be interesting to get a cooking lesson before having dinner at a restaurant.
Do you think the fine dining is a better idea and the cooking lesson before dinner is slightly tacky? Or is dinner at the Thai place better?
