Would you pay out of pocket to return a book to a seller?

An Amazon dot com seller accidentally sent me the wrong text book, he then shipped the correct one. As of today, I have my textbook and an unopened package that has a textbook (unknown).
I went to the post office and requested to reject the book, as the seller explained that is what I am to do. They told me I have to pay for it, and I said Nah!
I tried to contact the seller, no response. And there is nothing in their Amazon dot com store.

What would you do with the book?

Don't pay to ship it back.

If the seller wants the book returned he/she should pay the return shipping since it was their error.

My guess is that it's probably not worth it for them if it's an inexpensive used book, but hang onto it for awhile in case they want the book back.
