One of my buddies literally lives about 100 yards from a newsagents, but he jumps in his car to get there instead of walking. And if we're not guilty of it ourselves, most of us know somebody who uses the car when it would be just as easy (and healthier) to use a bike.
So as a society do you reckon we've become too car-dependant and lazy? Especially since that laziness must add up to an awful lot of pollution over time.
I'm asking because when I finally become dark overlord of the universe I might make it illegal to use a car for any trip of less than, say, 500 yards.
More biking, less driving.
What do you reckon?
