We all know people (including ourselves) who have walked out of a movie based on a favorite book and wondered if the screenwriter ever actually READ the book before writing the screenplay. I and my colleague Ted Savas recently completed a screen play based on "The Mystery of Witches' Bridge" a great 60s mystery novel by Barbee Oliver Carleton. The book is an iconic story and has a following of generations of readers.
