After a near fatal accident, Alyssandra “Ally” Glenmore is forced to live with her uncle in the countryside near the city of Rochester, New York. However during the accident, Ally’s mother had suddenly disappeared. She is told that her that her mother died a year ago, but Ally is sure of what happened. Then Ally meets Cam. Cam is very odd and is protective of Ally from the moment they meet. Ally begins to feel that there is something that she is not being told. Suddenly through a whirlwind of events, Ally is told that she was adopted. Not only that, she is also told that her mom and uncle are vampires and in the countryside where is living there is actually a whole community of vampires of which her uncle is a part of is Ally’s perspective of who she is now has changed and questions begin to plague her. What happened to Ally’s real parents? And what happened to the person, or rather vampire, she called “Mom”? Who can she believe now? And when Ally finds love in a human friend, how far will she have to go in order to keep the family secret and to save his save his life?
