Loving my Christmas Baby

Just wondering what your thoughts are on this? I have thought about doing it but I am scared too. My son is almost 6 weeks and for some reason he likes to sleep better in his swing compared to his bassinet or on our bed with us. He sleeps really good during the day but at night he is up at all hours. I get so worn out because of his messed up sleep schedule that I have thought about taking a nap while he is. Do you think that would be a crazy thing to do? I am an extremely light sleeper so I hear literally everything. My husband says I should wear ear plugs on the days he takes him while I can get a nap because I can hear him crying in the other room with a fan on high in my room. So do you think it would be a dumb thing to do or would you do this?
I would have the swing right beside the couch where I would be taking the nap if that matters.
