Would you get a Mazda RX7 FD as a first car?

I really like this car, but from what I heard before, these engines only last from like 100K to 200K miles! Is this true? I doubt I will be racing, just need a car to go around places. Would you get this car? Are rotary engines reliable??
And if u get a car that has a twin turbo already in it
and has been driven 88k already, how much longer do u think it will run till u need a new engine?
 
Unless you are mechanically inclined I would steer clear of this model as repair costs are quite expensive. There are plenty of other "Hip" cars that would not put you in the poor house trying to get fixed later on. Sounds like you are a young buck and insurance would be quite expensive also.
