would you ever take your young child/children to a jail?

My man wants to take our 22 month old to see his uncle in jail. I don't want my son to go at all. He's not even two years old yet. So would you take your baby into a jail? And if not how can I stop him from taking our baby.
there are 7 other inmates around, and you can't take a diaper bag or a sippy cup in. You have to be their for 2 1/2 hours. In a room with other families around that you don't know.

He said that he is taking him if I like it or not. I'm staying at home with our 5 month old. How can I stop him. He doesn't even rember his uncle.
 
Probably. I don't think the jails in Australia are anything like the ones they show on American movies. A baby isn't going to know what is going on around him, he will just think they are visiting a new place and meeting their uncle.
I would take my baby if their father was in jail.
