Would you date a gay or lesbian person who was extremely camp or butch?

Being a straight acting gay man, I enjoy dating the same type of person. I don't 'do' effeminate gay men. But plenty think otherwise and I'm interested in understanding why. Surely if a man acts like a woman, then he isn't a man? Same question goes to lesbians, except vice-versa of course.
 
I always have dated the very masculine men with abs and muscles. I find it very attractive, but feminine girly acting gay guys, I strongly dislike when it comes to attraction.
