I am always afraid of food poison but more so from fast food (which I do not eat)but I know that restaurants have pretty high standards that they must fallow, or at least I think. So back to my question,Would you consider Olive Garden a "safe" place to eat at, why or why not?

well, since olive garden is my FAVORITE restaurant, i would say it is very safe! i go there about once a month and i LOVE the food. i've NEVER had any bad experience while dinning there.

3 things i highly recommend you to get:

1. bellini peach raspberry iced tea - very good drink
2. alfredo sauce for the breadsticks - a must for the lovely breadsticks
3. chianti braised short ribs - best ribs you'll EVER have
4. tiramisu cake - awesome cake for dessert

please get those 4 things...if you do, you'll be in heaven!!!!!!

I've eaten there a lot, myself and never had a bad problem. I'm a picky eater and I like O.G's food. The only problem I've ever encountered there was bad service on really busy days.

You can't let fear keep you from having a good time the rest of your life. You will never get the full experience of life if you don't. You might get sick from eating out, going shopping, standing in line at the post office waiting to buy stamps.

I agree that fast food sucks and I don't generally eat it, but still. Going out should be a pleasure, not a torment.
