...narrow political spectrum? There's this guy who lives a couple doors over in my apartment block, and he's a real hardcore Marxist (I've tried explaning to him that communism is a failed experiment, but he refuses to listen). Yesterday, this conversation pops up almost out of nowhere between him and another guy on our floor about how communist candidates can't get a chance at office in this country because America's political spectrum is soooo narrow and therefore intolerant of any view that doesn't subscribe to either Republican or Democratic views.
Hhhrrrrmmm.... Hasn't every single communist government to ever exist made it so their country ruled on a one party system and that political dissent is illegal?
