Would You Consider Cheerleading a Sport?

Since I am a cheerleader i clearly think its a sport,
we work just as hard as any other athlete!
so i just want to know what everyone else thinks!
& the stuff i do is the hardcore competitive cheerleading, not the type where you just cheer at games aha
so is COMPETITIVE CHEERLEADING a sporttt?
