Would you consider a Pen Name for publication?

You know....distinctive names like William Shakespeare, J.D. Sallinger, T.S. Eliot, Edgar Allan Poe or F. Scott Fitzgerald.

Of course the writing helps the name become famous, but still a good name is a good name.
 
I think I will use two. One is my username with my mom's maiden name= Lovechild Flowers.
The other is my way back name so I guess technically not really a pen name, but for more serious writing: S.L.Nichols.
 
I think it was Ben that once called me Cazaspeare LOL ... and cheese woos me with the name
